Rental charge for the hall is $200.00 for a day’s use.  This is due in advance.  

Scheduling

All events are scheduled through Naomi Kelley, Secretary/Treasurer. 503-876-5294 kak@onlinemac.com or Debra Hyatt, President, 541-990-8037.

Garbage and Recycling
Renters are responsible for garbage generated by their event.  This may mean providing additional garbage and recycling receptacles.  Renters must remove all garbage and recycling from the facility and grounds at the conclusion of their event.  Any waste left on property is charged against the cleaning deposit.

Set up and Break Down: The renter is responsible for all set up of space.  Tables and chairs are available for use.  Cleaning of the hall after the event is the responsibility of the renter and must be done during the contracted event time.   The space used should be left as it is found.  If the rental time, including the cleanup and breakdown, exceeds the rental period, the renter agrees to pay additional charges.   If there is  damage to the facility or equipment, additional cleaning, waste removal (including paper debris from restrooms), lost keys or usage overruns,  the “renter” agrees to pay legitimate charges that exceed the rental deposit amount. 

Smoking Policy: The building of Fendall School Community Center is NON-SMOKING.  Renters must actively enforce this policy.  Failure  to do so may result in your event being terminated immediately.  
 
Alcohol: Hard liquor and drugs are prohibited from use on the grounds.   Violation of this agreement will result in immediate termination of the event with no refunds.  However, beer and wine are permitted with an additional rental charge of $150.00,  reflecting added insurance costs, for a total of $350.00 for a days rental.

Animals:  ABSOLUTELY no animals are allowed within the building unless it is an authorized service animal, with written pre-consent of the officers  obtained.

Noise or Disturbances:   NO ACTIVITIES ON THE GROUNDS WILL INTERFER WITH LOCAL PROPERTY OWNERS.  NO TRESPASSING IS ALLOWED BEYOND THE FENDALL CLUB GROUNDS.  Any disturbances, damages or trespassing will be an additional cost responsibility of the renter. 

Liability Insurance:  Part of your rental cost provides  Event Coverage Insurance,  naming Fendall School Community Center as a co-additional-insured with your event.   This protects us all.   

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES  WHEN YOU ARE THROUGH USING THE HALL:
1.       VACUUM FLOORS
2.       PICK UP TRASH AND TAKE IT WITH YOU
3.       REPLACE PLASTIC TRASH BAG IN CONTAINER. BAGS IN DRAWER BY SINK
4.       CLEAN SINKS AND BOWLS IN RESTROOMS
5.       CLEAN KITCHEN SINK
6.       WASH ALL DISHES AND UTENSILS USED
7.       CLEAN GRIDDLE AND OVENS IF USED
8.       CLEAN REFRIGERATOR IF USED
9.       TURN OFF SWITCH TO WATER HEATER –(pull downward in men’s restroom above tank)
10.   TURN FURNACE THERMOSTAT DOWN TO 50 DEGREES.
11.   TURN OFF ALL LIGHTS
12.   TURN OFF WATER OUTSIDE, JUST OFF BACK PORCH
13.   CLOSE AND PLACE PEGS IN ALL WINDOWS IF OPENED
14.   LOCK FRONT AND BACK DOORS

The renter agrees to assume all liability for losses, expense, damages, or claims in connection with or arising out of any injury or damage sustained or alleged to have been sustained by any person, corporation, firm or company, or any damage or alleged damage to property in connection with the occupancy, maintenance or use of all or any part of said premises by the agent, officers, or employees of the organization or individual leasing this property.  Renters shall indemnify and hold harmless the Fendall Community Club, including officers, members and volunteers from any and all such losses, expenses, damages, demands and claims; and shall defend any suits or actions brought against any of them, based on any such alleged injury or damages/ and shall pay all damages, costs and demands including attorney fees in connection therewith or resulting there from.
